Peter Maslow was born and raised in Midwood, Brooklyn, NY. He has maintained a painting studio in New York over the last 20 years, in Long Island City, Chelsea, Red Hook and now Industry City in Sunset Park. He was a High School drop out, but received his G.E.D. and went on to attend Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus from 1990-1995.

He graduated from LIU in 1995, Summa Cum Laude, became Artist in Residence from 1996 - 1997, and was a Fulbright Scholar from 1999 - 2000 in Poland, where he received grants from the Polish Cultural Institute and American Consulate in Cracow, Poland. He exhibited in Cracow and was Curator of several Polish Contemporary Painting shows in New York after returning.

Peter has exhibited in various venues in Europe and New York.
